We are Creekside Hideaway: Gatlinburg Tennessee’s newest luxury rentals hidden within The Smoky Mountains. Creekside Hideaway resides on a fourteen acre property featuring hundreds of beautiful trees, a two acre pond as well as two flowing creeks. The private acreage that Creekside Hideaway resides on creates a unique experience to all guests. It offers tranquil beauty with many fantastic sceneries, water features and even potential wildlife encounters. Located just twelve miles from Downtown Gatlinburg, Creekside Hideaway offers a peaceful escape after a long day of adventures. You can discover both Noisy Creek and Webb Creek that run directly through our land. Step amongst the 50-year-old trees and ancient mountains that this magnificent place has to offer.
How It Started
Creekside Hideaway is a family owned and operated business. The vision for this project began when we discovered a unique piece of property that had been passed through generations of a single local family for over 70 years. We had been looking for a piece of land that would serve as a mountain getaway for our family and friends and after searching, Creekside Hideaway was born in November 2020.
Our original dream was to build a tiny home retreat, however, the property had six existing homes that were in great locations, making it easy to incorporate them into our vision. We are now able to offer both tiny cabins for a simpler stay, as well as cottages to accommodate larger groups. All of the stays we offer provide a cozy and modern atmosphere. We look forward to sharing this getaway with our guests!

We rent boats currently Thursdays and Saturdays 6pm to 8pmCreekside Hideaway is excited to offer a one of a kind, hot tub experience that is exclusive to our guests. Our hot tub boats were made in the Netherlands and designed to hold up to six people. Float around our 1.5 Acre freshwater pond and watch the sunset with family and friends. These boats are woodfire heated and can heat up to 104 degrees, and guests have the ability to change the temperature if desired. Once you book your stay at Creekside Hideaway, you will receive a link to review the calendar and book your two hour Hot Tug sunset adventure.
- A member of our team will arrive at your rental home and pick up your party who will be enjoying the Hot Tug. You will be taken to your boat.
- The team member will give an overview of the boat and how it operates. There will also be a safety talk regarding driving the boat.
- Enjoy the Hot Tug experience for up to two hours, while taking in the sunset views and mountain air.
- A member of our team will signal when it's time to bring in the boat. You will be provided a towel and transported back to your stay.
Our boats are filled with freshwater and are cleaned after every use. They are powered by an electric motor and a tiller is used to steer the boat. The boat has an on/off switch, along with a forward and reverse knob for easy use. There is a maximum speed of 3 mph allowing for a calm, relaxing experience.

Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and Check-out is at 10:00 am. We do offer early check-in for an additional $40 if you are interested (you can select at checkout). This allows you to check in 2 hours early, at 2:00 pm. We only offer 5 early check ins per day.
We offer 9 Cabins - Dogwood Cabin Oak Cabin, Ivy Cabin, Maple Cabin, Hickory Cabin, Poplar Cabin, Willow Cabin, Sage Cabin, Chestnut Cabin- are 400 square feet and sleep up to 6 (two queen beds and a twin bunkbed).
We offer 3 Cottages - Rock Cottage (Large living room & Kitchen, 3 master bedrooms with king beds, a bunkbed room with Two Full and two twin beds, 4.5 baths, movie room and game room and a outdoor coved patio space over the creek.
The Smoky Cottage (Full kitchen and living room, 1 master bedroom with queen bed, twin bunkbeds, 1 large bath, outdoor patio space with wood fireplace)
The Ranch Cottage (Full kitchen and living room, 2 master bedrooms with king beds, Loft room with two Twin XL beds, 3.5 baths, outdoor patio space with wood fireplace)

Creekside Hideaway is approximately 14.5 Acres. The property is gated and you will be provided a code to enter the entrance related to your stay. When the property underwent renovations, walkways and trails were also added to allow guests access to walk around and explore the beautiful property. We wanted to gift everyone the experience of fresh air, surrounding hills & mountains, greenery, the two rivers running through, and our 2-acre pond, all from the comfort of your front door. This is truly what Creekside hideaway offers best: Nature in The Smoky Mountains.
We offer a wide variety of homes for our guests. We have 9 Tiny Cabins that are approximately 400sqft. These are great for small families that are looking for a modern, yet cozy stay on their vacation. They also allow multifamily parties to each get privacy on vacation, but also allow each to be near one another.
We also offer 3 Homes that range in size and capacity. These are also beautifully decorated with a modern farmhouse style. They can sleep anywhere from 4 to 12 guests.
All homes are uniquely placed on the property, so if you take a look at our map, you can choose your stay location.

Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs to stay at our rentals. We love our furry friends so much, but for cleanliness purposes we are not allowing them on the property currently.
Smoking is NOT permitted in any rental home on the property.
We do not provide any food on the site, however each home is equipped with its own kitchen supplies, depending on the house you have booked for your stay. We have grocery stores located within a few miles from the property for your convenience.
Creekside Hideaway boarders the smokey mountains park. It is a common occurrence to see all kids of wild life on the property. Be aware of your surroundings as well as your childrens surroundings at all times. Its very common to get visits or pass byes of Bear, Wild turkey, coyotes , foxes snakes and all types of creatures that live in this area. Bears love to look for free meal and have a nose much more powerful then humans. They can smell your groceries in the back of your car and well come to investigate. Secure and close your cars and homes when there left unattended.
Creekside Hideaway provides trash dumpsters near each entrance for your convenience. Each house will include trash bags and we ask each guest to throw their trash out when needed in those convenient dumpster locations. Do not leave unattended or dispose of any trash other then in our near proof dumpsters.
Many of our rentals have firepits / outdoor fireplaces, however you must supply your own firewood. We do sell firewood on site that can be purchased at the time of booking your stay. Branches and wood that falls from the trees naturally can be collected and burned. Do not cut or remove limbs from the trees on the property.

Fishing is allowed for guests of the property only. Fishing is catch and release ONLY. Fishing is allowed in the streams and on the pond until 5pm. After 5 pm until 6am fishing is not allowed. Fishing is not allowed on the boat dock and around the hot tug boats.
What the heck is a Hot Tug? A hot tug is a Electric powered boat that has a wood fire stove in it that heats the water to over 100 degrees. Hot tugs can seat up to 6 people. We rent 4 hot tugs per night for sunset hot tug experiences. Max number of guests per boat is 6. Experiences are 3 hours.

We are hoping to open phase two of the property in a couple of phases. Phase Two of Creekside Hideaway will consist of 3 STR homes as well as 10 creek and pondside cabins. We are still working on some of site infrastructure as well as some of the homes will be under construction.
We hope to open the 10 creek and pondside cabins, the pond cottage and the hot tug rentals by September of 2023.
